Capital Markets & Investment Banking

«Time flies. It’s up to you to be the navigator.» Robert Orben, 1927-present

In the field of Investment Banking, we see the biggest potential for restructurings and adaptations to new market circumstances, on the one hand through the change of the banks’ structures after 2008, and on the other hand through political pressure,  especially in relation with salary structures. Nevertheless, we believe in a reanimation in these areas, even though the flexibility of the banks is strongly influenced by regulatory demands on the equity ratio. Similar to Private Banking and Asset Management, a huge number of boutiques and specialists will revive the market in Investment Banking. The banks will continue to outsource departments and buy services, maybe also because of the huge salary changes. Besides the support of those specialized companies, we see a lot of potential in the exploitation and search of people who have a proven record and also can generate positive results in times of crisis and restructuration.
